CryptoAssault is under new management. The new team released a brand new whitepaper titled Crypto Assault: World War 2. They've also released a new update on July 14, which brought major changes to the game.
Big Update Means Big Changes
The latest CryptoAssault update brought two impactful changes. The first one concerns with land values and their relation to the zones. Specifically, players that have units out of the Zone can now fight their way in and conquer more valuable lands.
This will not only enable the players that have units out of the Zone to fight for valuable land but will also deliver more fighting and excitement on the map.
The second change is a new feature added to the game; Salvage. The CryptoAssault team implemented Salvaging to encourage the players to be more aggressive. Here's how it works:
- When you attack other units and win the battle, you'll receive the base power of your opponent. If you lose, you'll receive half of your opponent's base power.
- This newly acquired power will tick down by 0.1% every minute, so be sure to use it wisely.
Dividends & Alliances
The team also made changes to the way CryptoAssault distributes dividends. Now, 35% of the daily dividends will be distributed between the players depending on how much Salvage they own. That way the most active players will receive the most dividends.
All of these changes will, CryptoAssault hopes, encourage the players to form Alliances/Clans. Naturally, it would be much easier for the players to achieve their geostrategic goals if they had the right battle friends by their side.
Join The Design Challenge
This design challenge asks of you to submit your ideas for the CryptoAssault Clans' logos. To participate, you need to come up with an army-style logo and a clan name that goes along with that logo.
CryptoAssault will award top 5 participants with a rare Four Star CryptoAssault unit. The challenge will last unit July 31, or until the team receives 25 entries from the participants. Note that one participant can submit multiple entries and win multiple rewards!
