Digital asset wallet, imToken, has officially unveiled their collaboration with OpenSea. imToken will utilize OpenSea's API and enable imToken users to view and manage their crypto assets in a secure and convenient manner.
Partnering With imToken
After partnering with some of the best crypto wallets, including Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, and Vault Wallet, OpenSea is now joining forces with imToken.
Thanks to this partnership, OpenSea will use their API in order to provide imToken users with data that’ll enable them to view, manage and interact with their collectibles. To view their assets, imToken users can simply load up their main addresses, input a twelve word seed phrase and then navigate to the collectibles tab.
There, they'll be able to view all of their crypto assets, which they can trade via Tokenlon, imToken's built-in exchange platform. Alternatively, they may trade, buy and sell items via OpenSea.
Why is This Partnership Important?
Both imToken and OpenSea are making moves to bring the benefits of blockchain technology to the mainstream. Both focus on interoperability and are delivering tools that enable users to store, hold, access, and manage their crypto assets.
The OpenSea and imToken partnership provide imToken users with direct access to one of the world's biggest marketplaces for digital goods. In return, OpenSea added another partner to their growing list and can expect that many imToken users will use the OpenSea trading platform to buy and sell their crypto assets.
The partnership with OpenSea will also pair well with imToken’s existing features. The imToken 2.0 wallet comes equipped with a native QR scanner, which enables users to conveniently copy their addresses. And lastly, the imToken 2.0 DApp is compatible with the imToken Browser, which allows users to browse and access numerous DApps.
The Power of OpenSea API
An increasing number of crypto wallets are beginning to realize that the OpenSea HTTP API provides excellent solutions for viewing and managing crypto assets. More importantly, many DApp developers opt to adopt the OpenSea API because the process of monitoring every contract for every token is tiresome, time-consuming and resource-consuming.
OpenSea eliminates that problem by aggregating all this data into an easy-to-use API, making it easier for DApp developers to display users collectibles, tokens, and other crypto assets. Moreover, OpenSea provides their API free of charge. If you'd like to learn more about the API or get access to your own OpenSea API key, check out the OpenSea API overview page.
