Just recently, an exclusive gang of explorers had a chance to take a sneak peek into Decentraland's Metaverse. All were pretty much speechless, and some were too busy exploring the Metaverse to provide their feedback to the devs! Scroll down below to see what this fuss is all about.
The Doors Of The Metaverse Are Opening
Decentraland will let 50 new players per week into the Metaverse. Simultaneously, the team will gather feedback, fix bugs, polish the world and continue to improve performance. The team said that their goal is to have 2,000 active unique users in Metaverse by the end of September.
The team isn't hiding their ambition. By the end of September, they also plan on having user-oriented features in the Metaverse, including customizable Avatars, wearable NFTs, and most importantly, a Map that helps users find their way around.
Plans For The Future
Decentraland plans to open World Explorer to the entire community by the end of this year. The World's performance and stability are, logically, a priority. Once the team is happy with the performance and the stability of the world, they'll focus their energy into developing and polishing social and entertaining content and features.
This is the list of features Decentraland plans on adding very soon:
- develop an onboarding process that is simple and user-friendly
- develop better content for users to enjoy
- enable the users to express themselves via Avatar animations
- allow users to visit trendy and highly popular places in the world by using advanced Map functions
- develop a set of social features that users will want to experience
What Did The Video Show Us?
The video showed us a functional, stable, and colorful world inhabited by happy people. Thought the Metaverse is far from being complete, in it we could see explorers playing custom games, visiting galleries, and having tons of fun.
We could also see that Decentraland is a global community that consists of designers, content creators and other users from the West to the Far East. It's also a place for hip and active users who want to explore, play games, compete and run around. But if you're more of a laid back person, you can just sit in a lounge bar and have a chat with others. In short; it looks like Decentraland will be a world for everyone.
