MegaCryptoPolis (MCP) is becoming one of the most popular games on Ethereum. At the same time, this influx of new players is causing gas fees to spike, making it difficult for the players to perform transactions at a reasonable gas price. The good news is that the MCP is already fixing the issue at its root!
Facing The Gas Fee Problems
It's no secret that big games like MCP face problems on Ethereum. Ethereum is a giant network that often takes a lot of time to confirm and process transactions. Moreover, each transaction requires users to pay gas fees, which can cause even more problems if the players have to perform a lot of transactions.

These two problems are present in MCP. Even though the current gameplay doesn't have a lot of action (players can trade districts and buildings), it still experiences problems with gas fees. When many users perform many actions, the gas fees spike. Consequently, the players have to spend a lot of Ether to complete their transactions.
Fixing The Problems
At first, MCP patched the problem by eliminating District Funds. However, the team knew that this won't be enough, especially when the Microeconomy Layer is added to the game.
To provide a permanent solution to the gas fee problem, the team decided that the players will be able to claim their shares of the Fund without paying huge gas fees. The players will be able to claim Influence Points and withdraw Ether to their wallets with minimal gas fees
before the MCP3D launches.
Secondly, the team optimized the upcoming 3D Microeconomy architecture so that the players could enjoy it without paying high gas fees. This logic will also enable MCP3D to run on other faster blockchains with full interoperability of Microeconomy assets.
Each blockchain will have its own Microeconomy layer, which includes dedicated Funds and territories. Each blockchain will also have its Global Fund as well as the newly-minted territories and assets.
And though the blockchains will operate separately, all MCP3D Microeconomy assets will be transferable across all blockchains. This means that you won't be able to transfer buildings and territories (Macroeconomy), but you'll be able to transfer materials, citizens, pets, vehicles, and other Microeconomy assets.
MCP3D will first add TRON to its multi-chain gaming network. This will allow you to trade, buy and sell your Microeconomy assets in TRX. Citizens will earn salaries in TRX, and services in commercial buildings will cost TRX.
If you're a fan of TRX, it's good to know that the MCP team will send half of its Microeconomy asset Packs to TRON network on August 1. If you’re unsure whether you’d like to spend your TRX on MCP assets, consider trying MCP3D demo. You can access it right through our DGaming Store.
