The Cheeze Wizards hackathon is going better than expected. And because it's going so well, and because a higher than expected number of content creators joined the hackathon, the organizers decided to prolong it, increase its prize pool and share new resources with the community.
More Time To Make Great Projects
The Cheeze Wizards hackathon will last until September 15, which gives you 2 more weeks to polish your projects. This has been the #1 request from the community, and the Cheeze Wizards team obliged.
Also, the team will provide more of their support to the participants, which has also been one of the community's biggest requests. The team will host hour sessions every week and answer all of your questions, so feel free to contact the devs via Discord.
Enjoy Better Prizes
The Cheeze Wizards team will give away 10 Devcon tickets to the winning teams. If any tickets remain, they'll be distributed between the other winners.
Devcon, one of the most popular yearly events for the Ethereum community, will take place in Osaka, Japan. At the event, you'll also be able to meet Dapper Labs, the developers of both CrytpoKitties and Cheeze Wizards.
The best team will also get one of Satoshi’s Treasure Keys. Satoshi Treasure Keys is the biggest treasure hunts in the crypto community netting $1M bitcoin to the one who finds it.
Top It With Swag
While this is an event about digital products, digital money, and digital prizes, the community has also been asking for some physical prizes. To meet their wishes, the team created limited-edition Cheeze Wizards T-shirts. These T-shirts will be given to the winning teams as well.
Category winners of the Cheeze Wizards hackathon will get Cheeze Wizards' NFTs. Aside from holding intrinsic value (backed by ETH), these NFTs also give you access to future Cheeze Wizards tournaments, where you'll compete against other players and earn a portion of 600 ETH prize pool.
If you're interested in developing the Cheeze Wizards marketplace, you can use the 0x's Launch Kit. And, if you do an excellent job, you'll receive $2,000 worth bounty provided by the 0x team.
Furthermore, if you use Kyber Network's protocol to develop your exchange system and become a winner, you'll receive a $2,000 prize. The best hackathon projects will also be featured on the Cheeze Wizard's official website so that users can find them easily.
