August 6th - 0xGames launch the Creators Program. The purpose of this program is to allow content creators within the 0xGames community to receive rewards for their creations. The program is valid for 0xWarrios, 0xUniverse, and 0xRacers.
August 7th - AlterVerse’s CEO, Scot Kinney, explains how users can make money playing AlterVerse games. In this post, Kinney talks about skins, crypto assets, and different game modes that users can enjoy and earn money from.
Blockchain Cuties Universe (BCU)
August 9th - The BCU team provided an insight into the game’s recent launch on NEO. In 24 hours, BCU on NEO had 90 Cuties. 70% of those Cuties were the ones purchased during the presale, while only 20 Cuties were the Normal Cuties.
August 9th - BCU officially launches on the NEO blockchain. This means that NEO players can now play the game with their purchased cats and enjoy all in-game features and game modes. This includes adventuring, breeding, trading, selling, buying, crafting, and more.
August 7th - The BCU team provide their thoughts on the latest BCU market trends. The insight evaluates and describes trends across all blockchains, and focuses mostly on items that were recently introduced to the game (Gems, set items, and crafting materials).
August 6th - BCU announces that it’ll add a new gameplay layer for the Gen0 Cuties. Specifically, the new layer will provide each Gen0 Cutie with a random skill, which should increase their gameplay and monetary value in and outside the game.
August 6th - The BCU team provides more insight into why some Tribute Cuties are easier to replicate. The team also unveiled that a new Tribute Cutie was recently discovered in BCU; Marnie. This cutie was inspired by the same-named Instagram star dog.
August 5th - BCU unveils the schwiftiest Custom Cutie ever; Professor Rickhedge. This new custom Cutie was inspired by Rick Sanchez, the main protagonist in an animated science fiction show, Rick and Morty.
August 2nd - BCU hosted its first CUTE Lottery to honor its collaboration with Lumi Wallet. To participate, users had to complete certain tasks (such as follow Lumi Wallet and BCU on Twitter). The lottery ended on August 9th, granting 5 participants 200 CUTE tokens (each).
August 1st - The BCU team added several new Cuties to the Wars of Cutieland presale pool. The new Cuties are generals Kaizer and Shogun, governor Magnate and Caliph, and scout Berserker. Users will be able to play with these Cuties once the BCU Wars of Cutieland update goes live.
July 31st - A new attribute found in Hedgehogs; Somalihedge. The new attribute gives +2 for Fire and -1 for Water element. The attributed was discovered by the famous Cutieneer, King Nerd.
July 30th - The BCU team reminded the users they could purchase unique NEO Cuties for half of their original price. The team also noted that, once the game goes live, users will have to purchase these unique cuties at a market price.
July 29th - BCU announced its launch on the NEO blockchain. The launch on NEO was also followed by the start of the BCU NEO presale, through which the users could start purchasing unique NEO Cuties.
August 1st - The Caeser’s Triumph team shared more data about the upcoming Roman Conquest update. The team also discussed the changes they’ve made to gas prices and urged the players to provide their feedback about the said changes.
August 8th - Chainmonsters introduces a new game mode to its community; Dungeon Adventure. In Dungeon Adventure, the players will compete with over 100 unique characters and mini-bosses for fun and profit.
August 8th - The CryptantCrab team releases an advanced guide to the CryptantCrab Battle Arena. The guide prepares the players for the Battle Arena by explaining its advanced mechanics, including Legendary parts, Star symbols, Crab Hearts, and Fossils.
August 5th - CryptantCrab unveils a new gameplay feature; Challenge. This new feature enables the players to Challenge the opponents that have 500 Arena points or more.
August 3rd - CryptoKitties provides a guide to breeding DJ Meowlody, its latest Fancy Cat. To breed Meowlody users will have to combine 4 genes, which they can acquire with the help of recommended tools.
August 7th - CryptoMotors announces its partnership with Auctionity. CryptoMotors hopes that this agreement will help bring CryptoMotors’ digital assets to more users worldwide.
August 6th - CryptoMotors concludes the first part of the Second design challenge by unveiling the 5 winners. The winners will now be able to leverage Gravity Sketch’s official software to explore their designs in VR. The top two participants will also receive a VR headset for use during the second part of the challenge.
July 31st - The CryptoMotors team reminded its community that they could start voting on best designs. Anyone that cast their vote also enrolled into a CryptoMotors giveaway that could net them one of 3 Gen0 CryptoMotors cars.
Crypto Sword & Magic
August 9th - Crypto Sword & Magic announces its first raid. During its duration, the players will have to slay the notorious DEATHKAR. Should the players succeed, they’ll receive a share of the total prize pool, which is 200 EOS.
July 31st - Dapper Labs unveils that it’s working with NBA and NBPA to deliver NBA basketball to the blockchain. Dapper Labs will work with the said parties and develop NBA Top Shot, a blockchain-based game that will bridge blockchain with NBA fans.
August 2nd - Decentraland released the first footage of its World Explorer. The video showed 200 Explorers enjoying the Metaverse, interacting with its objects, playing custom games, and more. Decentraland also promised to let 50 new people in the world each week.
August 8th - Chris Clay becomes the new Game Director of Gods Unchained. Before joining Gods Unchained, Clay acted as an active Game Director for the famous trading card game, Magic the Gathering: Arena.
August 7th - Gods Unchained releases the v0.16 update. This latest update adds a countdown timer for the God Power and mulligan selection intervals to prevent game stalling. The update also adds several UI improvements to make the game more enjoyable and easier to play.
August 8th - Hash Rush provided more data on the Fisher in its latest Lore Spotlight. The Fisher is an important figure in Hash Rush; he was the first monster to be introduced to Hash Rush.
August 6th - Hash Rush’s Chief Creative Officer, Rob Nicholls, shared his view on the game’s current state. Among many other things, Nicholls pledged to add more diverse gameplay content in the upcoming updates.
August 1st - MegaCryptoPolis releases vital data related to buildings. Specifically, users are now able to switch building types and lock them for the upcoming Microeconomy update. The article also goes into details of several new UI and UX features that will come along with the release of the 3D Microeconomy update.
My Crypto Heroes (MCH)
August 9th - MCH announces the Trial Duel Cup. This special cup will hold 3 different MCH Duel cups simultaneously (9v9, Baby Dragon, Challenge Cup), during which the players will fight for rewards and points. As a player, you can participate in one cup only.
August 9th - MCH adds two new heroes to its pool; Percival and Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The heroes will be purchasable from August 13 to August 27th, but only the MCH Prime Members will be able to purchase Percival during the first week of the sale.
August 9th - MCH introduces new rules for Duel Cups. The new rules will change the way the game counts points, which could change the dynamic of MCH duels.
August 9th - MCH officially starts its low difficulty node. The team designed this node in order to onboard more users and expand the MCH community. The node is designed for beginners only because it allows them to collect extensions with low rarity heroes.
August 5th - The MCH team fixed the problem with the recently added Barrier function. The Barrier function should now work as intended (Passive skills should work even in Barrier condition).
July 31st - The MCH team releases the Event Schedule for August. The schedule should help all MCH players prepare for events in August, including sales, competitions, raids, and more.
July 29th - MCH announces the Duel cup for July 31st. During this competition, the players will be able to participate in one of three separate competitions (HRC Regulation, Baby Dragon, Dragon Egg) and win lucrative rewards.
August 10th - The NeoWorld team announces the implementation of the Transitional period. The purpose of this period is to enable a smooth transition from NeoWorld to NeoWorld 2.0.
August 7th - NeoWorld announces the HPBLAND pre-auction. HPBLAND is a 9-territory in-game world bought for the HPB community by the HPB Foundation.
August 5th - NeoWorld releases its latest weekly progress report. The report reflects on major and minor events that occurred from July 29 to August 4, including development, marketing, and community events.
July 31st - Nestables launches its presale. During the presale, users can purchase Cubes; playable digital pets (NFTs) in Nestables. The top five users who adopt the most Cubes will also receive a special crate that includes unique, cool-looking items.
NyanCat: The Crypto Race
August 9th - NyanCat: The Crypto Race enters public beta. All the users who purchased NyanCat are now able to race with their cats in the game.
August 7th - The NyanCat team announces that the 75% discount is no longer viable. However, users can still purchase NyanCats at a discounted price of 50%.
August 5th - The NyanCat team extends the 75% discount for two more days. That way more users can purchase NyanCats, playable characters in the upcoming crypto racing game.
July 31st - Gamedelta, the developers of Ether Kingdoms, announces a new crypto racing game “NyanCat: The Crypto Race. In this game, users will race with each other by controlling cats and distributing top cryptocurrencies that will update in real-time.
August 5th - Splinterlands releases an update that brings many minor changes to the game. Specifically, the latest update brings back multi-pack opening and announces card-with-DEC purchasing. The team also noted that many tournaments are starting to charge entry fees in DEC, which (to them) is a signal that the use of DEC is gradually expanding.
July 30th - Splinterlands officially releases the Guild feature. Effectively, the players may now unite and form guilds. The Splinterlands team will expand the role of guilds in the future by adding Guild Wars and integrating Guilds with DEC.
July 30th - Taurion releases a playable technical demo for users to play, test, and enjoy. The Taurion team is asking the community to provide their feedback and report bugs as they encounter them. The team also noted that the game already has many core features even though it’s in demo phase
August 3rd - The Sandbox team publishes the 13th project update. The latest update talks about the local Land save function, scarcity filter (Marketplace change), and more.
August 8th - Upland introduces UPX and Marketplace. Effectively, Upland players can now start using UPX to make trades and purchases via the newly added Marketplace. Users can now also collect profits in UPX from each of their land property.
